The Errington Hall is the perfect location and venue for all your events. From small parties, meetings / classes and workshops to larger events like theater, movie showings, celebrations-of-life services and weddings. All rentals require their own Event Insurance to hold events within any rental facility in British Columbia. You will also require a Special Event Liquor Permit to have liquor service at any event being held at the Errington Hall. We pride ourselves at keeping our great community hall accessible to everyone. At this time there are three areas that are available for the community to rent for various events. Contact us at any time if you have questions or would like to move forward with renting one of our great spaces.

The main area in Errington War Memorial Hall has a Capacity of 120. The main floor measures 56 ft. by 29ft. (17m by 8.8m) and the stage to the from the back curtain to the front of the stage is 11.5ft by 19ft. wide (3.5m x 5.8m). We have 120 padded chairs, 20 folding plastic tables and place settings of china and cutlery for 120. The Hall has handicap accessible washrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bar. Access to the locked kitchen cupboards, coffee urns and the bar must be negotiated with the rental agent at the time of signing the rental agreement.

*Please Note: A Damage Deposit cheque of $500 will be required before the rental date for Parties, Wedding Receptions and Full Day Use. This will be fully refunded after the event if there is no damage done.

The Old Fire Hall, the smaller Hall next door, served as Errington’s Fire Hall from the late 1960’s till the new building on the Highway was opened in 1975. The room measures 31ft by 25ft (9.5m x 7.6m). Fully renovated in the 1980’s with wood floors, insulation in walls and ceiling, it now (as of 2000) features a handicap washroom and a counter/sink unit which enables it to operate independently from the main Hall. The Old Fire Hall has become a favourite spot for meetings, readings, lectures, films, art displays and smaller social occasions. It comes equipped with 5 folding tables and 15 padded chairs.

The Multi Purpose Room, located downstairs in the Main Hall, served as Errington’s only Preschool for decades dating back to 1974. Fully renovated a few years ago and is ideal for smaller social occasions, classes and workshops. It comes equipped with 4 folding tables and 15 padded folding chairs.

The Errington Hall’s Kitchen is completely certified and ready for you if needed and is available for rental on a case by case basis. Please contact us at any time to see if your event/idea would be a good fit or if you have any questions.
