September 16th  - December 16th

The choir will be open to all children ages 5 to 12 years. No experience required, just a love of singing. The scheduled rehearsals will prepare choristers for a Recital Concert stage performance at the Errington Hall on December 21st.

The Errington Hall Children’s Choir for 5 to 12 year olds is taught by experienced music specialists: Alison Shaw and Bonnie Fontaine.

Allison

Allison Shaw is a British Columbia teacher (UBC, 1986). She’s now retired from teaching in the public and independent schools. Currently she teaches private music lessons.

Bonnie

Local performer and song writer, studied at Vancouver Island University majoring in voice in the Bachelor of Arts Music Program. Studies included jazz & classical voice, piano, theory, musicianship, the vocal jazz choir & the Malaspina College Choir. Bonnie is an experienced music teacher, having taught private music lessons at the Parksville Music Centre from 2009-2018.

Since September 2018 – 2023 she provided private music lessons at Studio 29 Academy of Music and also at the Bonaventure Program.

She now provides private music lessons in her home.
