Drum diva, Monica Hofer, is happy to be back at the Errington Hall offering three of her very popular programs, Duns, Beginner and Beyond Beginners African Hand Drumming. All fall programs are offered on Mondays, September 16th-December 2nd, with Duns from 4:00-4:30pm, Beyond Beginner, 4:30-5:30pm and Beginner 5:30-6:30pm.

Drumming is scientifically proven to relieve stress, enhance your immune system and energize your soul. The Beginner program includes basic hand drumming techniques and rhythms and jamming amongst a circle of friends. You do not need any drumming experience, just a willingness to learn and have fun. The Beyond Beginners class is better suited for players with some background with djembe playing. The class moves at a faster pace and explores more complex rhythms. The cost for each ten-week program is $150.00 and drums are available for a small rental fee. Duns are West African drums played with a stick and the cost for these classes is $75/10 weeks. The drums for this class are provided by Monica.
