On Hallowe’en night, October 31st, in Errington, parents bring their costumed kids to the Community Park at 6:30pm
The Errington Halloween Pumpkin Trail has been organized by the Errington Hall Board since 1973 to create a safe, fun event for our families.
Join us to walk down the trails in the woods of the Errington Community Park through a magical forest adventure and find some spooks along the way.
Entry by donation.
• Candy Walk
• Bonfire
• Displays in the Market Area
• Hot Chocolate
Event Timeline:
The trail starts at 6:30 till 7:30ish.
Bonfire at the end of the trail with free hot chocolate in the coffee shop.
Volunteers are needed for these tasks:
We start around 1 to 2 in the afternoon to set up the decorations along the trail .
Anyone in the community that feels like donating carved pumpkins can drop them off at the top of the trail by 5:00 to give us time to set them out and then we start lighting the candles in them at 5:30. Be a spook!
The spooks should be ready to be on the trail by 5:45 or so, if you want to set up any decorations of your own be there early enough to get it done before hand. Bags of candy are provided for the spooks to pass out in the hall kitchen so you need to drop by there first to pick up your bag.
We need one person to organize the bonfire and be responsible at the fire the duration of the event.
We are also encouraging individuals to decorate a market stall in their own Halloween theme and also to bring their own candy to pass out to kids.
And finally, after the trail is finished, at about 8:00 we need help to take all the decorations down and carry them to the small hall to keep overnight so the next day we can sort them out to put away for next year.
Hope to see you there!
