Yes, the Islands Luthiers Guild Show is returning again to the Hall. If you are a player, or want to be, now is your chance to not only see the fine craftsmanship and exotic woods used to build these instruments but to talk, face to face, with the builders. There will obviously be guitars, but also ukeleles, harps, banjos, mandolins, dulcimers, violins, amplifiers and middle eastern ouds on display. Several wood suppliers will also be on hand for those who are interested in the raw materials. Luthiers from the Island, Gulf Islands, Powell River, and students of Qualicum’s Summit School of Guitar Building and Repair will be on hand with their latest creations to show. Admission is FREE, so come on out to the Errington Hall and have a look.
