Errington Hall’s 48th Annual Hi Neighbour Day Dance
Saturday, August 19th - Tickets $15
Doors at 7:30pm & Show at 8:00pm
DJ to follow the Band and will go until midnight(ish)
The Hi Neighbour Day dance goes ‘old school’ when local band Revolving Doors takes the stage. The group was Initially named the Alumni Band because most members were in the same class in Grade 3 at the old Parksville Elementary School. Multi-instrumentalists Bill Naylor, John Lundine, Dean Williams, and Ade Barnum are all from pioneer families in the area, while ukulele specialist Liz DeBarros is a more recent arrival. Folk rock renditions of well-known and well-loved dance songs form the core of their repertoire, so expect a hot time in the old Hall.
There will be alcohol served so if you’re in the mood for a tall, cool one, a bar run by the Lions Club will serve your needs. And, if you want to continue dancing after the live band we will have a DJ until midnight(ish). Ticket only cost you $15 at Cranky Dog in Parksville, Heaven on Earth in Qualicum, Errington Store or at the door. Doors open at 7:30. Complementary snacks will be available at intermission.
PLEASE NOTE: Proceeds from these events pay for the repair and maintenance of the Errington War Memorial Hall. The Hall, the Old Fire Hall and the Community Park are maintained by the Errington War Memorial Hall Association, a registered non-profit society and a registered charity.
